Eliza Reed Grant 
Eliza Reed was born on January 31st, 1819 in Caswell Co, NC.1 Eliza Reed's father was Archibald Grant and her mother was Lydia Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were Vincent Roberts and Elizabeth Reed. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Milton Powell, James Diskin, Alfred Roberts, Jemina Vincent, Mary Rebecca, Baby, Frances Ann and Martha Leah. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died due to TB at the age of 61 on November 15th, 1880 in Pendleton Twp, Jefferson Co, IL. She was buried in Wall Farm Cemetery, On Scrivner Farm Southeast Of Belle Rive, Jefferson Co, IL.1 2 General Notes
