Lafaye Dewhitt 
Lafaye was born on October 19th, 1907 in Kansas City, Jackson Co, MO and her baptism took place in Census 1920.1 Lafaye's father was William Willard Dewhitt and her mother was Martha Almina 'Mina' Burgess. Her paternal grandparents were William Ashbury Dewhitt and Lydia Anna Wall. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Willard Elmo, William Cledith, Delmar, Loretta, Davetta Eloise and Willena Aurel. She died at the age of 38 on August 17th, 1946 in San Jose, Santa Clara Co, CA.1 General Notes
