Thomas Gordon was born on August 28th, 1908 in Pittsylvania Co, VA.1 Thomas Gordon's father was William Franklin Cox and his mother was Elizabeth Ramsey Gorgon. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Pinkney Cox and Martha Susan Joyce. He had a brother and two sisters, named William Franklin, Martha Boyd and Helen Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 77 on July 14th, 1986 in Lakeland, Polk Co, FL.General Notes
