Francis Marion Collier 
Francis Marion was born on March 7th, 1874 in Snyder,IL Clark County. Francis Marion's father was John Leonard Collier and his mother was Elizabeth Savoree. His paternal grandparents were Morgan Colyer Collier and Elizabeth (Betsy) Purvis. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named James Purvis, William Morgan, John Madison, Commodore Calvin, Elizabeth Davis, Alice Matilda, Lillie Mae, Martha Ellen, Mertle Ola, Melinda Isabel and Mary Dora. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 72 on April 12th, 1946 in Indianapolis,IN. He was buried in York Cemetery,West Union,IL.General Notes
