Martha Caruthers

Martha was born on March 7th, 1793 in Abbeville Co, SC.¹ Martha's father was Samuel Caruthers RWS and her mother was Hannah Kerr. Her maternal grandparents were Andrew Kerr Sr and Rachel. She had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Thomas, Andrew, Rachel and Josy. She was the third oldest of the six children.
