Josy Caruthers

Josy was born on February 15th, 1791 in Abbeville Co, SC.¹ Josy's father was Samuel Caruthers RWS and her mother was Hannah Kerr. Her maternal grandparents were Andrew Kerr Sr and Rachel. She had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Thomas, Andrew, Rachel and Martha. She was the second oldest of the six children.
