Joe Davis Butler 
Joe Davis was born on July 21st, 1899 in White Co, TN and his baptism took place in Draft Info. Joe Davis' father was Henry Lee Butler and his mother was Nancy Jane Simmons. His maternal grandparents were William Simmons and Susannah E. Adair. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Lewis, Luther Jackson 'Jack', Henry Lee, Hallie Margaret, Nettie and Susie. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 34 on February 2nd, 1934 in Shawnee, Pottawatomie Co, OK. He was buried in Rosedale Cemetery, Ada, Pontotoc Co, OK.General Notes
