Countess of Ross Matilda Bruce 
Matilda was born in 1205 in Annandale, Dumfrieshire, Scotland.1 Matilda's father was Sir Robert de Bruce Lord of Annandale and her mother was Isabella Huntingdon. Her paternal grandparents were Sir William de Bruce and Christina; her maternal grandparents were Earl of Huntingdon David de Huntingdon and Maud Chester. She had three brothers and a sister, named The Competitor, Bernard, Richard and Beatrice. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died in Ward, Northumberland, England.2 -
