Mary M. was born on December 18th, 1861 in Okolona, Clark Co, AR. Mary M.'s father was Richard L. Boyer and her mother was Alzada Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were Charles Roberts and Lucy Townsend. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John Charles, Valentine, James R., Robert L., Henry, Lucy A., Druciler and Drucilla D.. She was the second youngest of the nine children.General Notes
