Jane "Jennie", known as Jennie, was born in 1782 in Culpeper Co., VA.. Jennie's father was Joshua BROWNING Sr. and her mother was Nancy Anne SCOTT. Her paternal grandparents were John Browning and Elizabeth DEMAREST. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, James, Edmund Woodville, Jacob, John, Hannah, Annie and Mary Malinda. She was the youngest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joshua R., John, Anne, Mary, Margaret and Nancy.-
