Anne BROWNING 
Anne was born in 1782 in Caswell Co., N. C.. Anne's father was Joshua BROWNING Sr. and her mother was Margaret RANKIN. Her paternal grandparents were John Browning and Elizabeth DEMAREST. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Joshua R., John, Mary, Margaret and Nancy. She was the second oldest of the six children. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas, James, Edmund Woodville, Jacob, John, Hannah, Annie, Mary Malinda and Jennie. She died at the age of 53 in 1835 in Dekalb Co., GA..-
