Daniel Byron was born on August 1st, 1812. Daniel Byron's father was George Strother BROWNING and his mother was Gillian Ann Coleman COVINGTON. His paternal grandparents were Lieutenant John BROWNING Sr. and Betty (Betty). He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Francis Coleman, John Covington, Quinton, Robert Covington, Phillip Warden, William Winston, Elijah Bruce, Charles Reuben, George Franklin, Lucy Ann Elizabeth, Margaret and Mildred. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children.-
