William Aske

William was born in 1549 in Aughton, Yorkshire, England.¹ William's father was Robert Aske and his mother was Ann Sutton. His paternal grandparents were John Aske and Eleanor (Ellen) Ryther. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Robert, Christopher, Elizabeth, Mary and Dorothy. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
