John Aske

John was born in 1531 in Aughton, Yorkshire, England.¹ John's father was Robert Aske and his mother was Ann Sutton. His paternal grandparents were John Aske and Eleanor (Ellen) Ryther. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Christopher, William, Elizabeth, Mary and Dorothy. He was the oldest of the seven children.
