William Wade 
William was born about 1786 in Harrison Co., West Virginia. William's father was John Wade and his mother was Nancy Patts. His paternal grandparents were George Wade I and Ann Arah (Unknown). He had seven brothers and six sisters, named John, George, Isaac, Joseph, Richard, Wenman, Samuel, Elizabeth, Leah, Selah, Rachel, Nancy and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.
