Nancy Wade 
Nancy was born about 1795 in Monongalia, Virginia. Nancy's father was John Wade and her mother was Nancy Patts. Her paternal grandparents were George Wade I and Ann Arah (Unknown). She had eight brothers and five sisters, named John, George, Isaac, William, Joseph, Richard, Wenman, Samuel, Elizabeth, Leah, Selah, Rachel and Mary. She was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children.
