Matilda Garten Turman 
Matilda Garten was born in 1811. Matilda Garten's father was Garrett Turman Sr and her mother was Mary Giles. Her paternal grandparents were George Turman Sr and Elizabeth Higgenbotham; her maternal grandfather was John Giles. She had two brothers and a sister, named Garrett T., Giles(?) and Rebecca. She died at the age of 82 in 1893 in Hickman Co., Tennessee. She was buried in Davis-Anglin Cemetery, (Hickman Co.), Tennessee.General Notes
