James Strope 
James was born in 1870. James' father was Daniel Strope and his mother was Mary A. Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Strope and Sarah Bosworth; his maternal grandparents were John Mitchell and Jane (Unknown). He had five brothers and three sisters, named Charles F., D. P., George W., H. G., John E., Mary Evaline, Anna and Mildred.
