  CEMETERY RECORDS of GREENE COUNTY, v.1, lists a Sarah Strope, wife ofThomas Strope as having died 12-22-1876, aged 87 yrs at Bosworth-Strope Cemetery , located at Morford.   (Is this Daniel Strope'smother?)

  Bates HIstory of Greene Co., PA 1888, p.858- It has a biography ofThomas Strope, b. November 22, 1823.  It states that he was the 4thchild and the eldest to live to maturity. His father was Thomas, whowas a farmer who died in 1848.  His mother was Sarah (Elems) Strope.

      West Alexander,  June  25.--------Daniel Strope, of this place,died at his home last night of Bright's disease, aged 77 years.  Mr.Strope moved to this place last October and had been a sufferer withthis disease, from which he died, ever since he came to this place.Mr. Strope moved to this place last October from Aleppo, Greene County
