Nicholas Overbey 
Nicholas was born on March 2nd, 1776 in Mecklenburg Co., Virginia. Nicholas' father was Drury Overby and his mother was Amie Jones. His paternal grandfather was Nicholas Overby. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Daniel, Abner, Sarah, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 81 on September 9th, 1857 in Greene Co., Illinois. He was buried in Short Cemetery, (Greene Co.), Illinois.1 1 -
