Samuel Jobe 
Samuel was born in 1736 in Augusta Co., Pennsylvania. Samuel's father was Caleb Jobe SR. and his mother was Barbara (Unknown). His paternal grandparents were Andrew Jobe Jr and Elizabeth Vernon. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Jacob, Nathan, Caleb, Elisha, George, James, Ephriam and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 83 in 1819 in Missouri.-
