George Jobe 
George was born about 1747 in Augusta Co., Virginia. George's father was Caleb Jobe SR. and his mother was Barbara (Unknown). His paternal grandparents were Andrew Jobe Jr and Elizabeth Vernon. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Jacob, Nathan, Caleb, Elisha, James, Ephriam and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the nine children.-
