Charles Edward was born on August 21st, 1880.  Charles Edward's father was Jacob C. Hepler and his mother was Mary Elmeda Reynolds.  His paternal grandparents were William G. Hepler and Florinda Frick. He had two brothers named Walter Scott and Perry Lloyd.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 46 on December 12th, 1926.  He was buried in Tarr, Pennsylvania.
