William Bledsoe 
William was born in 1835 in Orange Co., Virginia. William's father was William L. Bledsoe and his mother was Rachell Perry. His maternal grandparents were Peter Perry and Lucy Falconer. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Mose Edward, John, James, Peter, Charles Lewis, Alpheus Daniel, Lucy and Mildred. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
