Sofrona F. was born on April 8th, 1870 in Cabell Co., West Virginia. Sofrona F.'s father was Mose Edward Bledsoe and her mother was Louisa Williams. Her paternal grandparents were William L. Bledsoe and Rachell Perry; her maternal grandparents were J. W. Bias and Nancy Williams. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named James William, John Thomas, Walter, Harvey, Charles Brooklin, Robert Clyde, Susan H., Mary Francis, Mariam Ann, Elizabeth J., Sarah Lee, Leona and Missouri. She was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 27 in 1897.-
