Thomas Beasley 
Thomas was born about 1770 in North Carolina. Thomas' father was John Pitts Beasley and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Liles. His paternal grandfather was Lord William Pitt. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Barnet, Zachariah, John Pitts, James, Pitts, Sarah, Elizabeth and Anne. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
