Elizabeth Beasley 
Elizabeth was born about 1772 in North Carolina. Elizabeth's father was John Pitts Beasley and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Liles. Her paternal grandfather was Lord William Pitt. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named William, Barnet, Zachariah, Thomas, John Pitts, James, Pitts, Sarah and Anne. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
