David Leroy was born on May 16th, 1904.1 David Leroy's father was Daniel Morgan Anderson and his mother was Martha Ellen Kennedy. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Anderson and Sarah Ann Polen; his maternal grandparents were Goin Sanford Kennedy and Sarah Jane Ashby. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James Donley, Joseph Franklin, John William, Charles Francis, Edgar Junior, Blanche Viola, Dora Grace and Violet Marie.General Notes
Olive May Filby Anderson confirmed his nickname as Roy from DavidLeroy. He and his wife Pearl had several (about 15) children, beforehe left her.
