Daniel Morgan Anderson, aged 51 years, of 520 Grove Avenue, was killedyesterday at noon in a fall of slate while at his work in the mine atthe Lincoln Hill Gas Coal Company workings. He was a member of thechurch of Christ. Mr. Anderson, an intensely patriotic man, enter the American Army whenthe United States entered the World War, despite the fact that he wasmarried and was the father of nine children. He was a loyal member ofthe Edwin Scott Linton Post, American Legion. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Anderson, ofLittleton, WV; by his wife, Martha E., and by the following children;James D., of Parkersburg, WV; David L., of Baltimore, MD; Joseph F.,of Washington, and Grace, Blanche, Francis, Junior and Violet, all athome. Six brothers surviving are, John, of Birchfield, WV; Cleve, ofDetroit, MI; Walter, of Washington; James and Oliver, of Littleton,WV, and Charles, of Morgantown, WV.
