Mary J. was born on January 3rd, 1763 in Ebenezer, Effingham Co., GA.1   Mary J.'s father was John George Zeigler and her mother was Anna Catherine Rau. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Immanuel, David, Hannah Elizabeth, Hannah Elizabeth, Catherine and Ann Margaret.  She died at the age of 8 on September 7th, 1771 in Effingham Co., GA.1
