Desire Wormall 
Desire was born in 1702 in Duxbury, Massachusetts.1 Desire's father was Josiah Wormall and her mother was Patience Sherman. Her paternal grandparents were Josiah Wormall and Remember Brown; her maternal grandparents were William Sherman and Desire Doty. She had three brothers and a sister, named Josiah, Samuel, Ichabod and Mercy. She was the third oldest of the five children.1 General Notes

On 5 January 1735/6 Josiah Wormall was appointed administrator of the estate of his daughter Desire.
the nuncupative will of Thomas Oldham of Scituate was made 23 July 1735 in the presence of Samuel Tilden Jr., Rebecca Lapham, and Elizabeth Taylor, all of Marshfield. Samuel Tilden asked Thomas if he planned to give Mercy Thomas, his housekeper, sonething out of his estate besides wages. Thomas Oldham did so. Administration of the estate was ordered to Mercy Thomas 1 September 1735.
On 1 August 1735 Josiah Wormall was made guardian of two orphan children of Thomas Oldham: Thomas and patience. At the decease of Josiah Wormall, his second wife Grace gave account: Patience lived but two years; Thomas was still living. In 1738 Samuel Tilden was made guardian of Thomas (who would be 21 years old in 1751).
