John Edgar Woolworth

John Edgar was born on April 3rd, 1862.¹   John Edgar's father was James Robert Woolworth and his mother was Sarah Mariah Yates.  His paternal grandfather was Jaspar Woolworth. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James Howey, Calvin, Stephen Henry, Sylvestor Lenor, Emily and Sarah Mariah.  He was the youngest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers named Stephen and Sylvester.¹
