James Howey Woolworth

James Howey was born on May 23rd, 1843 in Pittstown, PenselearCo.,  New York.¹   James Howey's father was James Robert Woolworth and his mother was Sarah Mariah Yates.  His paternal grandfather was Jaspar Woolworth. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Calvin, Stephen Henry, Sylvestor Lenor, John Edgar, Emily and Sarah Mariah.  He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers named Stephen and Sylvester.  He died at the age of 72 on July 12th, 1915.¹
