Francis Marion Wilson

Francis Marion was born on September 22nd, 1833 in Thomas Co., GA.¹   Francis Marion's father was Allen Wilson and his mother was Serena Hurst.  His paternal grandparents were James Wesley Wilson and Ann Gordon. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry Alfred, John Willy, Harriet and Susannah.  He was the youngest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named James Thomas, Gabril, Allen, Jeremiah and Eliza A..¹
