Eliza was born on October 26th, 1820 in Short Creek, Ohio.1   Eliza's father was Joseph Williams and her mother was Mary Cooper.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Williams and Mary Strahl; her maternal grandparents were William Cooper and Sybella Unknown. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Jason, William C., Daniel, Mary S., Hannah C. and Martha.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 24 on November 11th, 1844 in Flushing Monthly Meeting, Ohio.1
