George Washington Welch 
George Washington was born on June 12th, 1869 in Colchester, McDonough Co, IL.1 George Washington's father was Elijah A. Welch and his mother was Harriet Ann (Hattie) Guy. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Welch and Mary D. Caldwell; his maternal grandparents were George Green Guy and Angeline Sorrel Tinsley. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James Albert, Henry Thornton, Mary Angeline (Angie), Myra (Mary) Theresa and Elsie Amanda. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 74 on June 18th, 1943 in Hinsdale, DuPage Co, IL.1 -
