Samuel Watson 
Samuel was born on December 9th, 1728.1 Samuel's father was Samuel Watson and his mother was Margarette Gray. His paternal grandparents were William Watson and Mary Orr. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, Daniel, Matthew, Johnson, Benjamin and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the seven children.1 General Notes

Samuel was a prominent citizen in Thompson, Connecticut, and was active in the church. He was a large property owner, and built an elegant residence, for those days in 1767, at the north extremity of the hill. The house was afterwards owned by Judge Rawson.
