Mark was born on November 16th, 1881 in Springville, Utah, Utah.1   Mark's father was Alfred Voyce and his mother was Laura Emma Fifield. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Alfred, Henry, Frank, Clarance, Ezra, Melinda, Annie, Emma and Elmina.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 2 on December 23rd, 1883.1
