Jessie was born in 1877.1   Jessie's father was John Turner and her mother was Mary Nesbit.  Her paternal grandparents were John F. Turner and Hannah Idale. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named John, James, Frank, William, Eliza, Anna, Mary (Minnie), Catherine, Jerusha, Margaret, Edith and Laura.  She was the youngest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 26 in 1903.1
