Abiel Tripp

Abiel was born about 1653 in Portsmouth, RI.¹   Abiel's father was John Tripp and his mother was Mary Paine.  His maternal grandfather was Anthony Paine. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Peleg, Joseph, James, Mary, Elizabeth, Alice, Isabel and Martha.  He was the third youngest of the ten children.  He died on September 10th, 1684.¹
