Pleasant Thomas 
Pleasant was born in 1848 in Clay, Kentucky.1 Pleasant's father was Isaac Thomas and his mother was Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandparents were Marchant Thomas and Jemima Hamilton. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Marchant, Richard, Katherine, Rachel, Jemima and Mary. He was the youngest of the seven children.1 -
