Marchant Thomas 
Marchant was born in 1830 in Kentucky.1 Marchant's father was Isaac Thomas and his mother was Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandparents were Marchant Thomas and Jemima Hamilton. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Pleasant, Katherine, Rachel, Jemima and Mary. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died about July 1865 in Kentucky.1 -
