Charity Tate 
1 Charity's father was Samuel Tate and her mother was Sarah Strayhorn. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Tate and Anne Unknown; her maternal grandparents were William Strayhorn and Mary Hunter. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Pinkney, Thomas, William, Jane Louisa, Eliza Harriet, Mary, Sarah Anne and Ellen Jane. She died before 1855.1 -
