Marion Steele 
Marion was born on September 16th, 1849.1 Marion's father was John Steele and her mother was Mary Ann Elmhirst. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Steele and Mary Beckett; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Elmhirst and Mary Ann Toyne. She had five brothers and five sisters, named James, John, Richard, Joseph, Robert, Mary, Jane, Hannah, Margaret and Harriet E.. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.1 -
