Harmon Hawley Steele

Harmon Hawley was born on June 3rd, 1869 in Cannon Twshp. Kent Co., Mi.¹ Harmon Hawley's father was Nathaniel Steele and his mother was Adaline Hard. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Harmon Steele and Mary Eggleston; his maternal grandparents were Jehiel Hawley Hard and Matilda Hannah Barker. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Willie, Archibald Ray, Ada Florine, Alice Lorretta, Mary and Ruth Mae. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died due to Consumption- Tuberculosis kent county death records at the age of 23 on February 9th, 1893 in Cannon Twshp. Kent Co., Mi.¹
