George B. Stearns

George B. was born on March 26th, 1852 in Swanton, VT.¹ George B.'s father was William H. Stearns and his mother was Arathusa E. Smith. His maternal grandparents were John Smith and Esther Austin. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Henry G., Erastus, Charlotte A., Mary E., Adaline A., Margrit G. "Maggie" and Martha H.. He was the youngest of the eight children.¹
