Albert Thayer Stearns

Albert Thayer was born on January 21st, 1890 in Eau Claire, WI.¹ Albert Thayer's father was Henry G. Stearns and his mother was Martha Samson. His paternal grandparents were William H. Stearns and Arathusa E. Smith; his maternal grandparents were Alanson Samson and Rebecca Titus. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry Herbert, Harry Samson, George Gibson, Annie May, Mae Alura "Mary" and Hattie Samson. He was the youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named William Henry, Jennie Brayton and Jessie Fremont.¹
