Katherine was born in 1574.1 Katherine's father was Michael Spencer and her mother was Elizabeth Unknown. Her paternal grandparents were John Spencer and Anne Merrill. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Michael, Thomas, Richard, Gerrard, Joan and Alice. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Michael and Anne.1 -
