Jared Spencer 
Jared was born about 1648 in Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.1 Jared's father was Thomas Spencer and his mother was Sarah Bearding. His paternal grandparents were Gerrard Spencer and Alice Whitbread; his maternal grandfather was Nathaniel Bearding. He had a brother and six sisters, named Gerrard, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Mary, Martha and Martha. He had three half-brothers named Obadiah, Thomas and Samuel. He died in 1712 in Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.1 General Notes
