Bertha Ellen Smith

Bertha Ellen was born on September 11th, 1879.¹ Bertha Ellen's father was Council Smith and her mother was Sarah E. Moore. Her maternal grandparents were John Lanier Moore and Sarah Jenkins. She had five brothers and a sister, named James Lester, Elisha L., Bird, Sam, Harvey E. and Lilly Esther. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 86 on April 3rd, 1966.¹
